Bregal Investments joins iCI

As part of our commitment to actively address climate risks, Bregal Investments has recently joined Initiative Climate International (iCI), a Principles for Responsible Investment endorsed global private equity initiative, focused on developing pragmatic solutions to address climate change.

At Bregal Investments, we are committed to an integrated sustainability approach and recognise our responsibility as an investor to help limit global warming to well below 2°C, in line with the Paris Agreement.

Through active participation in iCI and collaboration with industry peers, we look forward to contributing to the development of pragmatic solutions to mitigate climate‐related financial risks and encourage best-practice sharing.

iCi commitments

• We recognize that climate change will have adverse effects on the global economy, which presents both risks and opportunities for investments
• We will join forces to contribute to the objective of the Paris agreement to limit global warming to well below two degrees Celsius

We will actively engage with portfolio companies to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to an overall improvement in sustainability performance.
