Bregal Anthos (formerly Bregal Private Equity Partners) manages a diversified portfolio of private equity fund investments, with more than 200 commitments made since 2002. The team also makes co-investments and participates in early secondary transactions.
Bregal Anthos actively seeks long-term partnerships across a range of strategies and geographies, from newly formed funds set up by experienced investors to long-standing established funds.
Our primary commitment sizes range from €10 – 50m, co-investments from €5 – 25m and opportunistic secondary investments up to €75m.

We source and partner with the most compelling opportunities.
Our core focus is on small and mid-cap funds (“capital constrained opportunities”) where superior investment selection leads to the highest upside potential.
Responsible Investing is an integrated part of our investment process and decision making. We only invest in opportunities where our responsible investing objectives are aligned with approach of the fund managers.

As fund investors, we achieve our responsible investing ambitions by aligning ourselves with partners who share the same values and principles. We expect our managers to have an articulated ESG approach and consistently address ESG issues in their portfolios. We encourage our GPs to report on ESG developments within their portfolios and firm.
Within the broad landscape covered by ESG, climate change and diversity are our two key priorities. Therefore, in addition to being signatories of the UNPRI (as of 2017), we are active members of the Initiative Climate International (ICI), a collaboration between GPs to collectively address climate change, and Level20, an initiative to improve gender diversity in the European private equity industry.
